High School baseball went on a 5th inning stretch and never came back.
Due to weather delays many of the final games were suspended until Monday.
Jackson Prep managed to squeeze in the final MPSA AAA Championship game and came out victorious under a looming dark sky. It was a pitching duel that came down to errors and runners left on base. The Patriots won 2-0.
At Trustmark Park today the 2A Championship will be decided between St. Andrew’s and Ackerman @ 4:00pm and the 4A Championship between East Central and West Lauderdale will start up at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday at @4:00 p.m. it will be a double header of sorts. Madison Central will finish the final innings of game two against Petal and then play a third game if necessary to decide the 5A Championship.
