Madison Central football is back. After beating No. 4 Tupelo Friday night in an overtime win, 24-21, the Jaguars have clenched a spot in the Super 10 at No. 9, pushing their opponent Tupelo to the No. 10 spot.
The reason for this reawakening? It Could be the defiant defense, the eager offense or a strong kicking game…or it could be the fancy new turf field at Madison High. The palatial field finally opened last week with every artificial blade of grass in place. I think the field has really set the foundation for a winning season and brought out the Jaguar spirit.
