Venus or Serena? Potato or Potato? Tomato or tomato? There’s really no difference when you’re talking about the Williams’ sisters. They both dominate the tennis court, they have a flair for style the sport has never seen, they are both coached by their dad, and they could both be playing in the Wimbledon finals this Saturday…against each other.
As a reminder, Serena is the rather muscular, big earring wearing, long haired sister… Venus is the taller, leaner, fashion designer sister.
If they make it to the championship round, I would have to say Venus is going to win that fancy European platter. This year, Wilmbledon is different than in years past. All the top-seeded players are losing and history is being made; Zheng Jie of China became the first Asian woman to reach a grand slam event semifinal. So with that being said, I think Venus will win. She has only beaten her little sis once when they’ve played each other in Grand Slam finals, but this year change is in the air. Venus is going home with some new cookware!
